the colostrum chant
...
flows, drops, droplets, nouns, stones, shine, ease, energy, flow, flow, river, water, fish, plants, stones, sleep, s-l-e-e-p, no dangers, dream, d-r-e-a-m, grow, tree, mountain, river, sea
this is the beginning of our story, the chant at the beginning of letters of peace, resistance and liberation
your voice is extended by my voice by her voice by their voice. channels, connecting times and tissues. wounds documented, all wounds will be documented and -

firewall of milk, colostrum. intensive care through cooking meals and gardening. we see healed skin, renewed across strata
growth, resilience, sturdiness, hooks to anchor and suppport elevation, scales to defend, communication through senses, flexible and rebouncing to location, water, hydration, warmth
rage drops build up to ocean waves, through continuous movements, accordeon of leaves, wind, wind, wind, strength, ferociously green and blue hues
...
Literally taken out of the drawer, this mix of text and collage came into being at different times during the past years (perhaps from about 2022 to 2024). Fragments of spare time gave way to hand-written lines and cut-up stickers re-arranged on beige paper, a simple reminder of the beginning of school. I’ve photographed part of the A4 collages and transcribed some of the text, now channeled into one image-text flow, a colostrum chant to be repeated and continued. At the same time other events in the multidimensional world took precedence: birth, existence, witnessing violence and people acting as firewall, singing together chants of liberation, connecting tissues of the liveliest kind, leaf after leaf of neon green strength growing on our house. It is not a piece to end, it is a work to continue, to collectively echo and extend - she/they will be strong, with iron-coated teeth.
